How are earthquakes formed ?
A
• They are caused by a series of seismic waves or tremors from
the focus deep in the crust.
• Pressure builds up at plate boundaries when plates are not
moving or get stuck
• When the plate suddenly slips or moves the pressure is eased
and the energy is released at the epicentre.
