A
wave/currents caused by wind

how are the size of waves determined?
A
determined by wind speed, amount of time that the wind is blowing, distance that the wind blows over the water (fetch)

how are tsunamis caused?
A
caused by submarine earthquakes and/or landslides

A
as a wave approaches, friction causes the bottom of the wave to slow down, causing the top of the wave to curl forward and eventually collapse/break
