What is the definition of a star?
A celestial body consisting of a mass of gas held together by its own gravity in which the energy is generated by nuclear reactions in its interior.
What is the definition of the Sun??
The star which earth and other planets revolve around and is made of hydrogen and helium.
What is the definition of a moon?
Celestial body that revolves around a planet.
What is the definition of a solar system.
A star and a group of planets and other celestial bodies that are held by its gravitational attraction and revolve around it.
What is the difference between rotation and revolution.
“Rotation” refers to an object’s spinning motion about its own axis. “Revolution” refers the object’s orbital motion around another object. For example, Earth rotates on its own axis, producing the 24-hour day. Earth revolves about the Sun, producing the 365-day year.
