cutaneous manif appear during 3rd week of life. but sometimes occur as late as 3 months after birth.

snuffles, most frequesnt and 1st specific finding.

lesions are first a bright or violaceous red later fading to a coppery color. papules become large and infiltrated scaling.
secondary pistule formstion w crusting spec in lesions that appear 1 yr or more after birth. eruption shows a marked predectjon for the face arms butocks legs palms soles.

lesions present at birth or appear in the first week of life. bullae wuicklu become purulent and rupture.
