What is the purpose of a CMC?
More than directions hearing
Identify and understand the real issues between parties
What will the CMC test the parties on?

What issues will be considered at the CMC?

1) Be familiar with case

When are draft directions filed pre CMC?
At least 7 days before any CMC

What is a case summary?
Prepared by claimant and (if possible) agreed with parties – designed to assist court in understanding and dealing with issues raised

When should applications be made to court?
As soon as it becomes apparent it is desirable or necessary
How many CMCs are there?
Depends on the complexity, but can be more than 1
