Ordered anglicization of the Canadiens. (Expected to speak english, roman catholics not allowed to hold office, english law would replace french law, was hoped French would switch from catholicism to protestantism, english government would replace French government.)
What was the Quebec Act?
Reversal of anglicization, enlarged the colony. (continue the survival of Quebec within the British empire, british would co-operate with the French leaders, Roman Catholics now allowed to hold office, the right to practice catholicism.)
What was the Constitutional Act?
Quebec divided into two separate colonies (governor appointed by Britain, lower Canada had continued security of Catholicism, upper Canada protestant, Lower Canada English and French law/Upper canada English law
