Describe the physical development of someone in early to middle adulthood

-Fully mature and there is little growth physical development is finished in early adulthood
-Adults gain weight as they age
-Early adulthood is the reproductive peak
-Middle adulthood is when there are many physical changes e.g eyesight, hearing deteriorates, menopause, skin loses elasticity, hair goes grey and men may bald.
Describe the intellectual development of someone in middle or early adulthood?

-Taking up new hobbies
-Intellectual learning develops (lifelong learning)
-Opportunities to travel and learn new cultures
-Increase education through training, education or employment
-Skills developed via living independently e.g. cooking, managing a budget and managing a home
Emotional Development of someone in the life stage of early or middle adulthood

-Living with a long term partner takes a high level of emotional relationship
-May get married
-Understand own emotions and emotions of any partner
-Have to emotionally mature to cope with children and their job also may have an emotional aspect as they may like or dislike their job
-Job/studying may cause stress
Social development of someone in early or middle adulthood

-May have more time for social commitments
-Relationships with parents change
-Jobs make a development of formal relationships
-More money
-Take part in activities with grandchildren
-May have to take care of elderly parents or cope with the loss of friends
