what is the meaning of “brain”?
The brain is an organ in the head which processes informations and controls behaviour
when does the fetus develop a long tube in the brain?
about 3 or 4 weeks old
how many distinct areas does the two divided into? Name all of them
3 distinct areas, forebrain, mid brain, and hind brain
when does the forebrain and hind brain start to split into 2 cavities?
5 weeks old
name the 2 cavities
forebrain: 1) Anterior
2) Poterior
hindbrain splits through the middle
mid brain does not divide
what is Cerebellum, when does it develop and the uses of it.
Cerebellum or in other words little brain, is a part of the brain and it develops when the fetus is about 6 weeks old, and it controls physical skills and can be developed overtime and its also involves in response like fear and in functions such as processing sense information.
what is medulla oblongata, when does it form and the uses of it.
the medulla oblongata or medulla for short is a part of the brain, it started forming by the time the fetus is 20 weeks old, it controls the involuntary responses like breathing, sneezing, heart rate, and blood pressure. its located in the hindbrain infront of cerebellum which connects the brain to the spinal cord.
