A
A top in the dollar means a bottom in the Yen and then exporters start to get hurt by a stronger Yen
Vice versa for a bottom in the dollar, top in the Yen

Do UK equities like a top or bottom in the USD?
A
They like the USD bottoming and getting stronger which leads to GBP weakness which supports its exporters.
