Affected Engine Start/Stop Selector - STOP
Pitch Trim Runaway
A/P DISC Button - Press and hold

A/P DISC Button - Press and hold
Steering Runaway
STEER DISC SWITCH - Press
Use differential braking and rudder to steer the airplane.

CABIN ALT HI warning message on EICAS:
Crew Oxygen Masks - DON, 100% Crew Communication - Establish Altitude - 10,000 ft or MEA, whichever is higher Thrust Levers - IDLE Speed Brake - FULL OPEN Airspeed - Max/Appropriate Transponder - 7700 ATC - Notify
EGPWS Warning Response (Pilot Flying)
Upon receiving EGPWS Warning:
Disengage Autopilot.
Simultaneously advance thrust levers to MAX and pitch 20 degrees or PLI, whichever is lower.
Maintain the present airplane configuration (gear/flaps) until terrain separation is achieved.
Climb to the MSA or MORA.
Clear of terrain, resume level flight.
Engage Autopilot.
Resume normal speed.
EGPWS Warning Response (Pilot Monitoring)
Upon receiving EGPWS Warning:
Communicate intentions to ATC.
Turn FSTN BELTS ON.
Scan for visual reference.
Call out the Radio Altimeter indication.
Read MFD terrain indications to check the obstacle height, guide PF for the best course of action and indicate when obstacle(s) have been cleared.
Rejected Takeoff (RTO)
CA
Call: “Reject, my airplane” and assume control of the airplane.
FO
Remove feet from rudder pedals and respond: “Your airplane.”
CA
- Reduce thrust levers to idle, disconnect AT and apply reverse thrust as required.
- Apply or verify maximum braking.
- Use reverse as necessary.
- Smoothly return thrust levers to idle.
FO
- Monitor airplane deceleration.
- Verify reverse status.
- Cancel any aural warnings.
- Call out “Sixty knots.”
- Advise ATC of abort.
When aircraft has stopped:
CA
- Set parking brake ON.
- Alert cabin crew (P.A.): “Remain seated, remain seated.”
- Request appropriate checklist if applicable.
FO
- Perform appropriate checklist.
If emergency evacuation is required - Accomplish Emergency Evacuation Procedure
Windshear Escape Maneuver (Pilot Flying)
Pilot first recognizing windshear call “Windshear.”
Thrust Levers - MAX
TOGA button - Push
Flight Director Escape Guidance Cue - Follow until 1,500’ AGL and terrain clearance assured.
(If no EGPWS “Windshear” announcement - Pitch to 20 degrees or PLI whichever is lower.)
Windshear Escape Maneuver (Pilot Monitoring)
Pilot first recognizing windshear call “Windshear.”
Assure MAX Thrust set.
Monitor Vertical Speed and Radar Altimeter.
Advise ATC of windshear encounter.
Stall Warning Recovery (Pilot Flying)
Announce: “Stall” (Pilot first noticing the stall situation/indication)
Disengage Autothrottle.
Apply nose down and level the wings until out of stall.
Apply thrust as required.
Accelerate the airplane to a safe speed.
Retract speed brakes.
After recovery, return to the normal flight path.
