Approach to investigations of dyspepsia?

A

Age + red flags

<55 + no red flags

  • lifestyle changes and drug review
  • trial of PPI/triple therapy (breath test/stool antigen)

> 55 +/- red flags

  • UGI endoscopy
  • Biopsy and histology
