What are the symptoms of Dyslexia?
It can affect reading, writing, spelling and even speaking. People with dyslexia can grapple complex ideas but take longer to process information.
What Causes Dyslexia?
It involves deficits to the phonological loop and central executive functioning. The process of keeping multiple sounds linked to letters in a dyslexics mind is a difficulty as they have poor auditory memory.
What are the symptoms of Dementia?
Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia and is diagnosed generally in patients over 65. The most common symptom is an inability to acquire new memories an difficulty in recalling recently learned facts. It affects in a chain- STM, episodic, semantic and finally procedural memory all deteriorate.
