Newton’s second law?
States that for a body of constant mass it’s acceleration is directly proportional to the net force applied to it.
Newton’s first law ?
States that an object will remain at rest or in state of uniform motion unless it is acted on by a net external force.
Newton’s third law??
States that when two bodies interact the forces they exercise on each other are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
Mass of an object??
Is a measure of its inertia or the ability to resist any change in motion.
Momentum ??
The product of the mass of the object and its velocity.
Force in terms of momentum??
Rate of change of momentum.
Concept of weight??
Effect of gravitational field on a mass.
Principle of conservation of momentum??
Total momentum before collision is equal to Total momentum after collision (in a closed system where there is no external force)
