Places failure firmly in the student. If they fail it’s because they have a fixed mindset. It fails to take into accounts external circumstances
Theory was challenged on a large scale. The EEF funded research into growth mindset in the uk. Results showed that there weren’t significant differences in maths and English compared to the control group
