The videos dark content which is delivered in a cheesy supportive narration. The film starts off with a monkey setting off an explosive that destroys the monkey and the tree. But bert the turtle survived because he knew how to duck and cover.

There is a contrast between the dark themes of death and the cartoon especially because of the casual death of the small creature

The film produces simultaneously frighten the children snf reassure them. The terro and unpredictability of a bomb was scary yet by using cartoons and comapring this threat to the risk of a fire or car accident

This made it all familiar and graspable

-Fear helped to rally support for nuclear research programmes

The film makers use familar scenarios and semiotics in order to better reach young viewers

The deadly attack is portrayed as a household and to avoid death are rewarded in the way their decision to look both ways when they cross the street
