A

Active reader model
-Says that the audience have the potential to be active by disciplining the content they receive
The idea that creative activity is blinded if you only focus on the cultural producer
The reader invents the text from something different from what they intended
-detatched from the origin
-each reader decodes text differently- they are not the same as the authors
