Adult Dose in Cardiac Arrest:

IV/IO: 1mg repeated at 3-5 minute intervals. No max dose

Adrenaline Adult Dose Anaphylaxis

Adult Dose in Anaphylaxis:

IM: 500microg repeated at 5-minute intervals. No max dose

NEB: 5mg SINGLE dose only

IV/IO: May be administered for refractory anaphylaxis or severe allergic reaction unresponsive to 2 x IM adrenaline injections and adequate fluid administration.

20-50 microg bolus (IV/IO)

INF: Immediately followed by an infusion commencing at 10 microg/min (10ml/hr) - titrate accordingly to indication and the patients physiological response to treatment.

Maximum inf rate 50 microg/min (50ml/hr)

Prep 3mg (1:1000) diluted with 47ml of 0.9% sodium chloride to achieve 60microg/ml.

Adrenaline Adult Dose Severe to life-threatening bronchospasm or Silent chest

Adult Dose in Severe to life-threatening bronchospasm or Silent chest:

IM: 500microg Repeated at 5-minute intervals. No max dose
