Options - provide options (good/bad/good). Explain consequences, include use of 4 great motivators, time, money, family, reputation.
Confirm - they understand. “Is there anything I could reasonably do or say to get you to [insert], I would like to think there is.
Act - take appropriate action, depending on situation.
