DSL: SRP OOP Defender Flashcards
SRP OOP Defender Flop: On flop multiway and heads up, do we donk or check?
Check entire range
SRP OOP Defender Flop: vs IP cbet, how do we act?
Vs cbet, XR 3x w/ BDFD/BDSD +2 overs
Standard XR hotspot strategy applies.
Overall, fold vs flop cbet should not be higher than 35%!
Also, don’t overfold vs preflop steal (second biggest leak). BB fold vs BU steal should be under 35%
SRP OOP Defender Flop: Multiway vs IP cbet, how do we act?
Do not apply hotspots with player left to act.
Increase equity requirements for hotspots when closing the action vs a plaer who has bet into a multiway pot.
SRP OOP Defender Flop as BB: vs IP cbet on low Rb disconnected boards how do we act?
As BB-defender, bluff XR 3x.
BU vs BB XR is overfolded on low Rb disconnected boards.
Pio folds 41% and population folds 50%. Bluff 3x.
Apply XR strategy
(BB vs SB XR is similar, 39% vs 48%)
SRP OOP Defender Flop: As BB vs BU cbet on low two tone connected boards how do we defend?
XR 3x aggressively.
People stab and cbet way too much in these situations. Don’t overfold to stabs and can employ XR strategy.
following stats use 0.50pot cbet
in BB vs BU pool overdoes by 15% (pio says 43%, pool does 59%)
in BB vs SB overdoes cbet by 11% (pio says 54%, pool does 63%)
in BB vs BU pool overdoes stab by 15% (pio says 43%, pool does 59%)
In MP-BTN vs EP-CO, pool overdoes cbet by 10% (pio says 59%, pool does 69%)
on all textures this is almost as true.
SRP OOP Defender Turn: after we flop XR, what’s the cbet strategy? Size? Hands?
Barrel 2/3pot with:
Premium value, 8-out straight draws or flush draw.
Check all else.
SRP OOP Defender Turn: “After villain X on flop” what do we do?
questionable answer says:
“Delay c-bet stab entire range 2/3 pot”
(except on code red: Ace turns)
This card seems questionable because the phrasing is confusing in the word file and as listed in spreadsheet too (as XX line) for three reasons:
1. We’re not the cbettor
2. We’re not stabbing as we’re OOP
3. There is not a stab possible as OOP defender if we X-X, and it is not possible at all if IP villain X-X.
4. Theoretically IP after missed cbet still retains range advantage though they reduce their nut advantage by checking. Pool is probably way too capped here though so maybe.
Two Possible Real Meanings:
-Maybe they mean as IP defender (NOT OOP defender) vs X-X we delay stab 2/3 pot.
-MOST LIKELY THEY MEAN: As OOP defender (which we should be in this word file) versus IP missed cbet, we PROBE 2/3pot with entire range.
SRP OOP Defender River: vs IP X-C (probed turn & got called), how do we follow through?
Follow through on all rivers (except code red Ace) for 2/3pot with:
All bluffs!
Polarized value range!
(check merged section for showdown)
SRP OOP Defender River: vs IP B-X (turn checks through) what do we do?
Fire all bluffs (including Ax) for 2/3 pot
SRP OOP Defender River: vs IP BC-X (XR flop and turn checks through) how do we continue?
Check all bluffs. Never reopen the betting on the river with bluffs after checkraising flop then turn checks through
SRP OOP Defender River: vs IP B-B-B how do we defend against triple barrel? Is this line under or over bluffed?
Fold all bluffcatchers that don’t dominate a portion of villain’s value betting range (will be more specific in later sections, but in general this line is UNDERBLUFFED.
SRP OOP Defender River: vs IP river raise, how do we proceed?
Do NOT bluffcatch vs any opponent profile. We need significant domination over villain’s value raising range to justify a call.
