What is Manzanilla fina?
Wines that are matured in the coastal town of Sanlúcar de barrameda qualify as Manzanilla de Sanlúcar de Barrameda, which is a separate DO to that of Jerez. The wines are made exactly the same way as Finos from Jerez but the cooler more humid conditions on the coats guarantee a thick layer of flor throughout the year. This results in wines that have a more intensely tangy aromas.
