A
- Anticholinergic effect; TCA’s, antihistammines
- HRT (oestrogen only particularly)
- Androgen antagonists
- Cardiac arrhythmic drugs and beta blockers
- SSRI’s
- Isotretinoin

What are the referral criteria in dry eye?
A
- Dryness of mouth and other mucous membranes: Sjogren’s syndrome
- Outward turning lower eyelid: medical intervention required
