A

Dir. inhibit bone resorption by inhibiting enzyme farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase (FPP)

  • inhibition of FPP synthase disrupts proteins which are responsible for maintaining cytoskeletal integrity of osteoclast

*osteoclast detachment is promoted > reduced bone resorption
