  • Irreversible Flavin inhibitor
  • last resort antidepressant
  • MOA: down regulate (desensitize) 5HT1A and terminal alpha-2
  • dietary restrictions: tyramine containing foods
  • contraindications: OTC decongestants, triptan anti-migraine agents, meperidine, tramadol, SSRIs, L-DOPA, bupropion
