Increase synaptic norepi and serotonin through inhibition of reuptake mechanisms

How do benzodiazepines work?
Activate binding sites on teh GABA receptor -> hyperpolarization of the neuronal membrane and decreased neuronal firing
How is norepinephrine made?
Beta-hydroxylase converts dopamine into norepi.
