Used for: TI hypersensitivity (urticaria), eczema; reduce itching

SE: local irritation/allergy; GI upset, rash, anaphylaxis, vaginal candidiasis, Ab-associated infection/dd (C. diff), resistance (esp. fusidic - rapid)

isotreninoin, acitretin

SE:

  • mucocutaneous rxn: dry skin/lips/eyes
  • LFT, hypercholesterolaemia, hyperlipidaemia (TAG)
  • myalgia, arthalgia
  • ?depression
  • teratogenic: double contraception, monthly preggo tests until 1/12 after iso, 2 years after acitretin
