What is THC and CBD and where does it come from?

A

THC is a proactive component in cannabis that causes the ‘high’ feeling and increases appetite. It is derived from the leaves of cannabis stivia.
CBD is a non-proactive component in medicinal cannabis that causes relaxation and does not increase appetite. It is derived from the leaves of cannabis indica.
