Q

Explain the process of drug testing

A
  1. First of all the scientists grow a real human cell in the laboratory. They do this because it measures the effects the drug has on real human cells.
  2. After it is successful they test it on live mammals like monkeys and rats to take out all those harmful substances before they are given to humans.
  3. If the drug causes serious damage to the animals then testing is likely to cease. It is also stopped when it is not effective.
