Temporary sense of exhilaration, superabundant energy, hyperactivity and extended wakefulness
May also include irritability, anxiety and apprehension
Use is followed by a period of depression know as crashing that is invariably described as unpleasant
What is an hallucinogen?
Distort perception of objective reality and a sensory cross over, detached from reality and flashbacks
What is the physical dependence of an hullusinogen?
The body requires presence of the drug to prevent physical withdrawal symptoms (Heroin)
What are the psychological dependence of an hulluciogen?
Brought about by drug’s reinforcement potential, may develop rapidly, more difficult to overcome (Crack users)

muscle relaxing action - can treat muscle spasms and neuromuscular disorders
