7-day regimen of:
Fluconazole Capsules 50 mg, 1 capsule daily
OR
Miconazole Oromucosal Gel 20 mg/g, Apply a pea-sized amount after food four times daily

Erythematous Candidosis if fluconazole and miconazole are contraindicated
Nystatin Oral Suspension 100,000 units/ml, 1 ml after food four times daily for 7 days

Miconazole Cream 2%, Advise patient to continue use for 10 days after lesions have healed, Apply to angles of mouth twice daily

Sodium Fusidate Ointment 2%,do not prescribe sodium fusidate for longer than 10 days, Apply to angles of mouth four times daily
If initial Tx of angular cheilitis is unresponsive what do you prescribe instead
Miconazole (2%) and Hydrocortisone (1%) Cream
Send a 30g tube and Apply to angles of mouth twice daily
Advise patient to continue use for a maximum of 7 days

Chlorhexidine MW 0,2%
Send 300ml and Rinse mouth for 1 minute with 10 ml twice daily

Hydrogen peroxide MW 6%
Send 300ml and Rinse mouth for 2 minutes with 15 ml diluted in half a tumbler of warm water three times daily
What is the Tx of Herpes Simplex Infections if the pt immunocomprimised or severe infections in non-immunocompromised patients

Aciclovir Tablets 200 mg, 1 tablet five times daily
What is the Tx of herpes labialis in non-immunocompromised
patients
Aciclovir Cream 5%, Apply to lesion every 4 hours (five times daily) for 5 days

7 day regime:
Aciclovir Tablets 800 mg (shinglestreatment pack), 1 tablet five times daily

Rinse mouth for 1 minute with 10 ml twice daily
What is the max dose of paracetomol
Adults can take 2 , 500mg tablets, 4 times in 24 hours. You must wait at least 4 hours between doses. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours
What is the max dose of iboprufen
for adults is 800 milligrams per dose or 3200 mg per day
What is the max dose of codeine
one or two 30mg tablets, taken every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 8 tablets (240mg) in 24 hours
What are the key signs of a anaphylaxis
Marked upper airway (laryngeal) oedema and bronchospasm, causing
stridor and wheezing
Tachycardia (heart rate > 110 per minute) and increased respiratory rate
What do you do if some was having anaphylaxsis
Assess the patient
Call for an ambulance
Secure the patient’s airway and help to restore their blood pressure by laying the patient flat and raising their feet
Remove the source of anaphylaxis, if known, using suction if required
Administer 100% oxygen
– flow rate: 15 litres/minute
Administer adrenaline, 0.5 ml(1:1000), i.m. injectionb repeated after 5 minutes if needed
What to do if pt is suffering from Angina and/or Myocardial Infarction
Administer 100% oxygen
– flow rate: 15 litres/minute
Administer glyceryl trinitrate spray, 2 puffs (400 micrograms per metered dose) sublingually, repeated after 3 minutes if chest pain remains
If no response to GTN phone for ambulance
Administer aspirin, 300 mg
dispersible tablet, orally

1 capsule daily

Carbamazepine Tablets, 100 mg
