Assess s/s infection & anaphylaxis, Monitor bowel function, assess for rash (SJS), instruct parent correct admin. technique

small amts. may be absorbed & result in hypersensitivity reactions

Altered taste, systemic allergic reactions, photophobia, discomfort.
*May cause harmless white crystalline precipitate that resolves over time.
