- Observe or Apply Maximum Braking
- Raise the Speedbrake Lever UP
- Select Maximum Reverse thrust consistent with conditions

(announce “MANUAL BRAKING” if reject below 90 kts)

Go Around - One Engine Inoperative

A

If a flap 15 approach is used……… Use flap 1 for go around

Limit Bank angle to 15 degrees until out of orange band (lower of Vref 15+15 or Vref ICE +5 is attained)

If flap 30 approach….. use flap 15 for go around

If LAND 3 or LAND 2 is annunciated:
Be aware of rudder input at 400 AGL when AP reverts to Single AP Operation

  • Perform Normal Go Around
  • Maintain Flaps 15, Vref 30 or 40 plus wind (command speed) and limit bank to 15° until safe altitude is reached
  • Accelerate then retract flaps on schedule

Go Around/Overrun Warning - Ground

A

Without delay:
- Simultaneously close thrust and apply maximum manual wheel brakes
- Verify speed brakes UP
- Max Reverse
- Continue max Braking until airplane can stop on the runway

When stop is assured:
- Start thrust to idle detent before taxi speed
- After engines are at reverse idle, move reverse thrust levers to full down
