- Source- changes another form of energy to electrical energy
- Conductor-allows electrons to travel on a path Ex:wires
- Control-Starts and stops electron flow
- Load- Changes electrical energy into another form of energy
Ex: a lamp turns electrical energy intolight energy
What are the properties of the best conductor?
Short- has less length to travel
Thick- more room to travel
What does it mean when a circut is closed?
Electrons can flow through the circut
What does it mean when a circut is open?
Flow is interrupted, electrons can’t flow
