When the principle character does overs the true identity of another character
Antagonist
The rival of the protagonist
Anticipation
Expectation or prediction
Aside
When something is said away from the conversation being had, in the direction of the audience sometimes.
Catharsis
Strong feeling of emotion felt by the audience
Climax
The most exciting or action packed part of the play
Denouement
The final part of the play
Dramatic irony
The truth of something is known by the audience but not by the characters on stage
Hamartia
Fatal flaw
Peripeteia
Sudden reversal of fortune
Retrospective
Looking back on or dealing with past experiences
Tragic
Hero
Hubris
Excessive pride
Verisimilitude
Appearance of something being real or true
Theatrical doubling
When the audience is meant to notice that some characters are played by the same actor. E.g. Polonius and the grave digger
