what are the 7 states of tension?
- Exhausted, laying on floor
- laid back, relaxed
- neutral, how you would be on a normal day.
- alert and curious, still our every day state.
- suspense, looking round and being nervous.
- passionate, THEREβS A BOMB IN THE ROOM, the tension has exploded out of you.
- Tragic, the bomb is about to go off, you are so scared you canβt move.

how high or low your voice is

how quickly or slowly you speak.

how loud or quiet you speak

the emotion in your voice.

shows where the character comes from
pause
dramatic pause in a suspenseful or sad moment.

speaking without variation in your voice.

the rise and fall of the voice, like asking a question

the way the character holds there body when standing or sitting

the movement of hand or the head to show emotion e.g clenching fist is angry.

the way in which a character moves

the way a character uses their face to show emotion, like smiling would make you happy
