(Monetary) Consequences of circumnavigation:

- stolen riches from Spanish ships and ports brought England wealth
- new trading routes were established
- new spice trading routes meant English sailed could directly trade with the Asian merchants
- new slave trading routes and companies set up ( Levant Company dealt with exclusively with Turkish and Middle Eastern trading )
