Robertsonian translocation: translocation of the long arm of chromsome 21 to another chromosome, often 14

What are some of the symptoms of the disorder
A
Mental impairment, stunted growh, umbilical hernia, flat head, flattened nose and more

What is the relationship between maternal age and the disease
A
Risk increases with the age of the mother.
95% of cases are to due to nondisjunction in ovum
