What are the types of double teeth and their definitions?
A
- Fused: a partial or complete joining of 2 or more tooth germs during development, they usually have 2 roots and can sometimes be split if there are separate root canals.
- Germinated: when one tooth germ has tried to form two separate teeth. They have one root with 2 crowns and cannot be split.
