What is the dosing of Xyosted?
50 mg/.5mL, 75mg/.5mL, 100 mg/.5mL once weekly. Recommended starting dose is 75mg.
What is the dosing of Aveed?
750mg/3mL. Recommended starting dose is 750mg followed by 750mg 3 weeks after, then 750mg injected every 10 weeks.
AE’s associated with transdermal gels?
Application site reaction, abnormal lab tests, acne, prostate disorder.
What are the dosing options for Kyzatrex?
100mg, 150mg, or 200mg. Recommended starting dose is 200mg BiD w/ food.
What are the dosing options for Tlando?
112.5mg. Recommended starting dose is 225mg BiD w/ food.
Most common AE’s with TU?
Increased blood prolactin, hypertension, increased hematocrit, URI, increased weight, headache, musculoskeletal pain.
Efficacy of Kyzatrex?
88% of patients had mean plasma T concentrations within the physiologic range after 90 days.
Effiacy of Tlando?
80% of patients had mean serum T concentrations within the physiologic range after 24 days.
Where should testosterone pellets be implanted?
Near the hip, or buttocks.
How often should testosterone pellets be implanted?
Every 3, or 6 months.
What is the strength of Natesto?
5.5mg per pump actuation.
