A
Not allowed to talk military matters in public
Not allowed to by binoculars
Not allowed to light bonfires or fireworks
Not allowed to write in invisible ink when writing abroad
Beer and whisky had to be watered down in pubs and not allowed to buy a round of drinks

Why was rationing introduced?
A
German U-Boats we’re sinking food ships
Inequality could be ended in poorer communities
Was a limit to what civilians could grow
Shoulders took priority over the civilians - they got food first
Food prices increased
End of 1917 people were scared they were going to run out of food so they began bulk buying
