What is minimum number of patrolman dispatched to a domestic disturbance?
As with any domestic disturbance or domestic violence situations, the BDOC Controller will dispatch a minimum of two patrols.
Prior to patrolman departing the incident_______ will be notified.

Who gets notified for domestic situations happening off-base?
The BDOC Controller will also notify any available family advocacy program personnel for incidents of domestic violence occurring off-base or in cases of SF being notified of civil arrest of military members for domestic violence.”
Define Domestic disturbance?
Any incident involving a household member and/or children that does not involve physical violence or damage/destruction of government or private property and that occurred within the confines of a military installation.
Define Domestic Violence
Any incident involving a household member/or children that involves physical violence and/or damage or destruction to government or private property. Location of the incident is not restricted.
Define Neglect
Failure to provide needed age-appropriate care.
Define Spouse.
A partner in a lawful marriage.
Define Spouse Physical Abuse.
The use of physical force resulting in physical injury to the spouse. Violence is generally used to intimidate, control or force a spouse to do something against his or her will. This may include grabbing, pushing, holding, slapping, choking, punching, sitting or standing on, kicking, hitting with objects, and assaults with knives, firearms, or other weapons.
Define Child.
child is defined as an unmarried person, whether natural or adopted, foster child, stepchild, or dependent that is either under the age of 18 or incapable of self-support because of a mental or physical incapacity.
Define Child Abuse.
This is contact between a child and an adult or juvenile having power over that child, such as a parent, baby-sitter, older sibling, family friend, exploitation, etc.
Define Child Sexual Abuse.
Sexual abuse includes intercourse, masturbation, fondling, and/or incest.
Define Child Neglect.
The act of omission or commission that result or could reasonably be expected to result in physical or emotional harm to the child. This includes, but is not limited to, unattended or abandoned children.
Define Child Endangerment.
Is a criminal offense that involves the subjection of minor children to inappropriate or dangerous situations. It is not the same as child abuse, which involves direct harm to children.
Define Household Member.
Is a spouse, former spouse or family member, including relative, parent, present or former step-parent, present or former in-law, co-parent of a child or a person with whom a person has had a continuing personal relationship. Cohabitation is not necessary for a person to be deemed a household member.
During the Notification Phase, what information must be relayed to patrols from BDOC controller(s)?
BDOC Controller must obtain as much information as possible. Ensure the Privately Owned Weapon Listing (POWL) is cross checked. Medical needs for individuals/suspects involved, drugs involved, summary of the relationship(s), number of individuals along with detailed descriptions.
