What to give the patient after AVDR?
A
- Small card with contact details for domestic abuse organisation
- Conceal the number of domestic abuse helpline
- Immediate threat call 999
- Police Scotland anonymous website or 101 for non urgent

What else can you do as clinician?
A
- cards in toilets and posters in wiating areas for patients to know you are willing to talk
- Have staff wear ASC badges
- Allow patients to use phone in surgery if need
- Link with domestic abuse agencies and have materials available
- Develop protocol to allow you to get people on own if partners present and alert others of issue (code words)
