Valentina ha una stanza delle bambole nella sua camera. E’ una vera e propria cameretta di legno, con mobili, sedie, tavolini, il passeggino da bambola e la culla.
Valentina has a doll room in her room. It is a real wooden bedroom, with furniture, chairs, tables, a doll’s stroller and a cradle.
Valentina ha due bambole: una delle due è sempre brava e l’altra è un po’ monella. Le due bambole, a volte, litigano: la bambola monella fa la prepotente, non segue le regole e non ascolta la bambola brava.
Valentina has two dolls: one of the two is always good and the other is a little naughty. The two dolls sometimes quarrel: the naughty doll bullies, doesn’t follow the rules and doesn’t listen to the good doll.
Quando Valentina si arrabbia, la bambola monella è ancora più disobbediente.
Arriva il lunedì e Valentina è in collera con tutti. Al mattino, Valentina non vuole andare all’asilo.
When Valentina gets angry, the naughty doll is even more disobedient.
Monday arrives and Valentina is angry with everyone. In the morning, Valentina doesn’t want to go to kindergarten.
Al pomeriggio, non vuole tornare a casa. Valentina è in collera con le maestre dell’asilo; con la mamma, con i compagni dell’asilo; con la sorellina.
In the afternoon, she doesn’t want to go home. Valentina is angry with the kindergarten teachers; with the mother, with the kindergarten classmates; with little sister.
Quando la mamma va a prendere Valentina all’asilo, la bambina non vuole tornare a casa.
When her mother goes to pick up Valentina from kindergarten, the little girl doesn’t want to go home.
La mamma la veste e la porta fuori e Valentina fa i capricci per strada: piange e grida e non vuole camminare.
Her mother dresses her and takes her out of her and Valentina throws a tantrum in the street: she cries and screams and she doesn’t want to walk.
Quando arrivano a casa, la mamma ha già perso la pazienza.
“Vai in cameretta e prova a calmarti da sola”, dice la mamma e la lascia da sola.
By the time they get home, Mom has already lost her temper.
“Go to the bedroom and she tries to calm you down on her own,” Mom says and leaves her alone.
Valentina entra nella stanza delle bambole. Le sue piccole amiche si mettono a litigare e la bambola disobbediente dice alla bimba: “Oggi siamo ancora più arrabbiate!”.
Valentina enters the doll’s room. Her little friends start arguing and the disobedient doll tells the child: “Today we are even more angry!”.
“Sì, oggi voglio buttare tutto in aria!”, dice Valentina.
“Yes, today I want to throw everything up in the air!” Says Valentina.
“Facciamolo!”, dice la bambola. Valentina ha una scatola di giocattoli: li tira tutti fuori e li lascia sul pavimento.
“Let’s do it!” Says the doll. Valentina has a box of toys: she takes them all out and leaves them on the floor.
Tirano fuori i pennarelli dalle confezioni, i pezzi del puzzle di legno.
In cameretta, ora, c’è molta confusione, ma Valentina e la bambola sono ancora più in collera.
They take out the markers from the boxes, the pieces of the wooden puzzle.
In the bedroom, now, there is a lot of confusion, but Valentina and the doll are even more angry.
La bambola brava esclama:” Basta! Calmatevi voi due, o verrà la mamma e si arrabbierà davvero!”.
The good doll exclaims: “Enough! You two calm down, or Mom will come and she’ll be really mad! ”.
La bambola monella risponde: “Non mi importa. Voglio buttare tutto in aria!”.
The naughty doll replies: “I don’t care. I want to throw everything up in the air! ”.
“Valentina” , grida la mamma dalla cucina, “che cos’è questo rumore?”.
“Valentina”, the mother shouts from the kitchen, “what is this noise?”.
La voce della mamma è calma, ma curiosa. Valentina sa che tra poco arriverà in camera e allora sarà davvero seccata per tutti i giochi sparsi per terra.
Mom’s voice is calm but curious. Valentina knows that she will soon arrive in the room and then she will be really annoyed by all the games scattered on the floor.
