Doctrine Flashcards
Mission support doctrine
The basic doctrine the ship sails with in peacetime cruising. Contains the characteristics of all potential threats in an area of operation. Will change sensor settings accordingly.
High priority doctrine
Normally only activated by ORO once zippo is called. It changes sensor settings to be the most efficient against an alpha threat (at- most dangerous in aor)
Entity pattern mapping
Doctrine used to dictate what you are firing at for a specific weapon firing. Effective immediately prior to firing.
Probability of kill
According to information obtained from AWWO:
MSD- 65% PK
HPD- 80% PK
EPM- 90+% PK
Where does it come from?
Comes from the Canadian forces maritime warfare center in Halifax on At-Sea configuration overwrite tool (asco) disk carrier and are loaded into cms using mct #1 in ccer#1
What is doctrine?
In terms of CMS, the doctrine is information on how the ship will respond to any situation that may arise. The doctrine influences and directs the response of the combat department, which shapes how the warship will fight
