How can DNA be sequenced (Sanger method)

• Four test tubes are set up. Each contains: many single stranded fragments of DNA to be sequenced, a mixture of bases, a small quantity of four terminator nucleotides, a primer that is radioactively/fluorescently labelled to start DNA synthesis and DNA polymerase to catalyse DNA synthesis
