Q

How do the nitrogenous bases pair up?

A
  • The sugar and phosphate groups make the backbone of the DNA molecules.
-The nitrogenous bases join the two DNA strands together. There
are four different nitrogenous bases in DNA:
    A – adenine
    T – thymine
    C – cytosine
    G – guanine
