Q

What is the difference between the IF CCA installed in the HG2291AB01 Mod 0 and the IF CCA installed in HG2291AB01 Mod 1/HG2291AB02 Mod 0?

A

There is PN difference.

The IF CCA PN installed in the AB01 Mod 0 (26021131-111) is 26021137-206 or 26021137-207.

The IF CCA PN installed in the AB01 Mod 1/AB02 Mod is 26021137-301.

They have different Field Programmable Grid Array (FPGA) versions.

Q

How many Boeing planes had AB02 installed in them for qualification for us to get them into production? What did Tim say about the performance difference Boeing found between the AB01 and AB02?

A

5 planes had AB02s installed in them

-First half of 2023 they confirmed that the performance was better than the AB01

Q

What is difference between P1C sensors and B4C sensors?

A

P1C sensors
-Are in plane sensors
-The die on the sensor is aligned in the sensor

B4C Sensors
-1 of the sensor are out of plane

Q

What material was put on the AB02 flex tape? Why this material?

A

Kapton is the material. Due to its large range of temperature stability and its electrical isolation ability, Kapton tape is usually used in electronic manufacturing as an insulation and protection layer on electrostatic-sensitive and fragile components.

Q

What was the most common manufacturing issue for P1C gyro CCA sensors? What performance issues were seen?

A

The design of the P1C is hard to manufacture because FOD easily caught in the proof mass and the sensor die of the P1C gyro
- Changes in bias shifts
- AGC mode faults

Q

Why was the FPGA in the AB01 Mod 0 changed in the AB01 Mod 1? What issues does this cause?

A

The FPGA in the AB01 Mod 0 is just programming the gyro card at 1 frequency value to three of the 3 analog Asics to the sensors
-Wobbling occurred
-Fingers were touching the bottom plate or other fingers
-Sensor stuck down failures
