What is Hypoglycemia?

What can occur if blood sugar get that low?

Is the onset sudden or gradual?

Blood sugar <70mg/dL

Cognitive impairment can occur (ex: neurologic s/s b/c brain needs glucose to function properly)

Immediate treatment is needed
