What does Equality Act 2010 state needs to be done?
Make reasonable adjustments to help people who would be placed at substantial disadvantage if works were not carried out
Reasonable in: cost, extent, disruption
What does Equality Act 2010 request is done if there is an obstacle for disabled person?
- remove or alter the feature
- provide reasonable means of avoiding the obstacle or reasonable alternative access
What do tests for reasonableness include?
- effectiveness of adjustments to disabled person
- practicality of adjustment
- financial cost and likely disruption
- finances/resources available to service provider
Examples of team working in respect of current instructions?
- have regular PM/BM meetings
- have weekly team meetings to raise any issues / discuss any ideas
EG recently worked with another member of my team to create a new template report which we presented to the rest of the team
EG electric charging points installed and then I helped other members of my team do the same
