Q

How has this led to different place identities?

A

Carpenters Estate used to be a derelict area full of social housing but the council has been accused of pushing residents out of the estate.

Council wanted to regenerate the area and start off by kicking residents out of the James Riley Tower but residents couldn’t afford to live elsewhere.

E15 group argues this was method of social cleansing to create more luxury area.
