Cause
Under secretion of thyroxine due to problems with thyroid, pituitary or hypothalamus

- Slow heart beat
- Weight gain
- Lack of energy
- Feeling cold

Treatment
Hormone replacement therapy- tablets contain synthetic thyroxine supplement the body needs
Pituitary Dwarfism
Cause
Not enough growth hormone secreted, can be due to disease or genetics

- Usually slow growth
- Weakened muscles and bones

Cause
Excess growth hormone secreted, usually due to a disease

Immune systems attacks insulin from producing, meaning cells cannot ne secreted to control blood sugar levels

- Passing urine frequently
- High blood glucose and no insulin concentration
